The New “Normal”

It has been over 2 months now since the UK was brought to a halt due to COVID-19 and after all this time, we as a country are now just taking our first baby steps into “the new normal” as the impact of this virus has hit virtually every sector of our daily lives. One thing that has been made clear over the past week or so is the need to try and get businesses back up and running and now the instructions from the Government as follows:

Platinum Asset Protection, as our name suggests, specialise in Protecting Assets, and there are no Assets of higher importance than people. Our Team Members are critical to the successful operation of all our businesses and we are pleased to be able to offer solutions to help you and your business. Successfully achieve the above instructions.

Body Thermal Temperature Cameras

As part of our wide range of Protection products and services, we are now happy to introduce to you our Body Thermal Temperature Cameras. These Cameras are ideal for ensuring that one of the most common symptoms of COVID-19, a raised body temperature, is identified at point of entry to a premises or site so that you can restrict entry to people who may be showing symptoms.

The Cameras can be installed to a location of your choice and as someone stands in front of it, it determines the body temperature from their face to ensure that there are no signs of a raised temperatures that could be an indicator of an illness within that person.

Should the Camera identify someone with a raised temperature, it will sound an alarm and visually flash to alert that it has detected an abnormal temperature. With this immediate alert you are ale to implement procedures within your business or site to isolate the person to a seperate area and perform a secondary test and find out about any symptoms they may have been having.

From there you can make a more informed decision as to whether that person should be at work or whether they should be self Isolating until the symptoms have gone.

The cameras are accurate to +/- 0.5°c and provide an excellent 1st stage test to identify potential symptoms in a staff member.

These cameras come in 2 different formats: A fixed Camera that can either be permanently mounted to a wall or temporarily mounted to a tripod for a “pop up” type usage, or a handheld version that is ultra portable and can be used for screening no matter where you are.

The fixed version of this camera can connect to a network and send immediate alerts to any computer of your choice when an abnormal temperature is identified and can trigger outputs to other equipment too, for example to stop entry into a building.

Access Control Systems with Thermal Screening

We can also provide a fixed solution to access control with built in Thermal Screening. Our solution provides facial recognition, card entry and pin entry options whilst screening everyone that approaches the door for body temperature. It can also detect whether a person is wearing a face mask or not prior to allowing entry.

Leading the Way in Security and Safety

We truly believe we are the number 1 choice when it comes to Protecting People, Property and Assets and provide multiple options to be able to use our services.

We provide flexible weekly rental agreements for temporary utilisation and offer full purchasing options to provide a more long term solution to your needs. During installation we will provide full training to your Team Members to ensure that you utilise the full benefits of the product.

After our initial FREE, NO OBLIGATION, site survey to establish the best option to suit your needs, we can usually move to installation within 48 hours subject to agreements in place.
