Mum ‘so proud’ after hero boy, 10, caught burglar who broke into brother’s bedroom

A little boy has been hailed by his proud mother for his bravery after coming face-to-face with a burglar.

Toby Craig caught the intruder climbing in through the window of his older brother’s bedroom in the early hours of September 1.

The 10-year-old, who has autism, remained calm and went to wake his father up.

The burglar immediately escaped back through the window of the bungalow in The Meadows, Prestatyn.

The mum-of-four said police have since attended the property and have examined the scene for clues.

Meanwhile the family are taking steps to keep their home secure and are investing in CCTV.
