A restaurant has hit back at a scathing TripAdvisor review after a woman complained about her Eat Out To Help Out experience.
The diner lashed out on the site after going for a meal at Sleepers in Hull, but the owners were having none of it.
Her damning account claimed she waited an hour for her food, and branded the manager as “passive aggressive, extremely rude, and condescending”, Hull Live reports.
Left after a visit last week, the review claimed: “I went here on Wednesday for lunch, My first time eating out since the pandemic began.
Sleepers said their CCTV could prove the woman did not wait for an hour and they even went out of the way to make sausages for the woman’s dog.
The response continued: “It is clear from the lengthy email exchange that we have had that you were well aware of how busy it was.
“However, upon special request from yourself we were more than happy to cook special sausages for your dog.
